How to make sense of Astrology
So many people have opinions about things they actually know nothing about. Often times, the less they know, the stronger their opinion.
Why?
To protect their perspective; to avoid having to learn something new.
To stay “safe” from big ideas, or to protect a shattered sense of self. To protect the lie that we’re alone and isolated.
Between the shatters is where the true self lives, and moving through the shatters is the only best way, i.m.o., to get reacquainted and reclaim your true authenticity.
What does the authentic self have to do with astrology?
Astrology is the authentic language of the cosmos. It speaks through symbolism and applies at every level, uniquely.
Nikola Tesla said, "If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration."
The solar system is held together by energy.
Planetary orbits demonstrate frequency.
All matter vibrates. Planets do too (at a near-immeasurably slow rate, discernible thanks to science).
Human beings are conscious beings of earth matter.
Archaic astrology speaks in terms of malicious and beneficial planets, as if matter has temperament. This is a judgment and it is nonsensical at the cosmic level.
Modern astrology relates patterns and probabilities to consciousness unfolding in real time, on the earth, within the context of the solar system moving across the ecliptic through galaxy in cyclical time and space.
Time and space are foundational layers for our physical reality.
Layers and context are essential fundamentals within the interrelationship of all things.
Authenticity is unique to layers and context.
Zeus does not throw lightning bolts from atop clouds. Resonance pervades form, and equilibrium exists at every level, from energy in an atom to the mirrored form of the larger universe.
Ask a better question:
The question is not, “is astrology real?”, but “in what way(s) is an understanding of principles of reality impactful in my daily life?”
With that question in mind, the debate between Physics and Folklore finds a unification where folklore and physics must both apply.
Big ideas must include and unite frameworks into a larger more inclusive framework to be considered more broadly true.
There is no larger framework that the cosmos. There is no bigger idea than the Macro mirroring the Micro, and the Micro mirroring the Macro, as the universe experiences itself through consciousness.
For astrology to be truly useful, it must include the macro and the micro, it must connect through physics and folklore, and empower Free Will.
Astrology is the study of the underlying energy that holds the solar system together, within the larger context of the galaxy, as it emanates through consciousness and precipitates through the building blocks of life as the physical form that we experience.
It’s non-emotional, in and of itself. Astrology, appropriately applied, nurtures and supports free will, rather than condones or condemns it, as the universe experiences itself as consciousness in realtime.
Astrology is the language through which the cosmos operates and communicates.
Astrology is math and meaning.
Astrology is language.
You, me, and everyone, has the freedom to interpret this language in whatever way serves them. This is free will.
