Polarity in Personal Responsibility

Being a savior sucks. You die, and all you get is glory.

Legacy is dead, though, because it’s not yours. It’s created by the impressions of other people in their memory of what they create for themselves from what you created.

Isn’t that refreshing?

We All Have Angels and Demons

and the crowd goes wild!

Anger erupts through the crowd from shared memories of unique disappointments.

The energy of Oneness that is our heart’s contentment judges neither one good nor bad. It is our choosing that makes it so.

Closure vs. Being Closed

At this precipice of past and future, whether it be the New Year 2023, or the new beginning of Jupiter moving through its post-retrograde shadow at the beginning of Aries, marking a new 12-year journey around the sun, we are challenged to let go of the past without losing ourselves in the future.

It’s important to remember that that which can be lost was never really ours to begin with.

From paths of spiritual learning, we are dropped back into our bodies to rise up out of old realities that no longer serve us.

We are empowered by our divine sovereignty with the power to choose.

Deciding what to leave behind and what take with us can be confusing, especially if we’ve spent lifetimes leaning on the other people’s directions.

Closing the door on worn out models and the concrete shoes of old decision-making habits leads to new action.

Action vs. Desire

What we do and how we are conditioned by what we have done are growing apart.

We have the chance to make new choices, to know ourselves differently. To rebuild our identities based on a synthesis of greater understandings.

I, for one, am thrilled by this opportunity. Having lived half my life in the regret of compulsions, addictive habits, and the shadows of a blinked-out over identification with trauma, my clarity is becoming reconstituted.

What I want and what I actually do with my energy are discovering greater distinction between themselves. I’m finding that so many of my wants are fibers in the residue of empirical conditioning.

From over-extending myself to accommodate other people’s agendas, I’m recognizing my divine sovereignty all over again, but this time it’s here in the present moment, in my body, and in the connection I share with the people around me.

It’s an opportunity to gain deeper understanding of the motivations of both, my angels and my demons, so neither consumes me, and make well-informed choices that bring virtue to my loved ones, my environment, and those with whom I interact.

Letting go and Living On

Whatever circumstances arise, there’s a new sense of a spiritual essence that’s never not right here with me.

This sense of omnipresence brings all aspects of self together, in a synthesis of sensation between what I observe and what I perceive, where I get to choose.
