Reflections on the New Moon, 2022–09–25

The new moon on September 25, 2022 has an intensity to it that I described in my article, “The Tensions of Flight”, as:

1) a jet taking off, shifting its weight from the ground to the air,

2) a kite, transitioning from handheld to air held,

3) a submarine, launching from dry dock to diving, and

4) a hydrofoil drawn by a kite

Each of these metaphors represents a shift in governing tensions — the Medium of their existence is new…

Like a flying fish leaving the ocean, existing in water only through the ocean’s effervescence.

It’s a seed of becoming a whole new version of yourself.

Therefore, a best single metaphor to describe this previous new moon is:

MITOSIS.

“Mitosis is a process where a single cell divides into two identical daughter cells (cell division)”, where each cell dies to the greater process and is reborn in duplicate.

This moment exists for an individual’s personal recreation.

Now is the time you become who you’ve always been meant to become, AND hold the tension of existing at two levels at the same time.
